Kevin Hajek

Kevin Hajek is currently the SVP & Chief Information Officer at American First National Bank. Prior to this, Kevin worked at Allegiance Bank for 13 years, where they were responsible for starting the bank's IT department. Kevin has been in the banking industry for over 20 years and has been with American First National Bank since it was 2 years old. Kevin manages a team of technicians and is responsible for all external and internal audits and exams, overseeing and monitoring the bank's electronic security, commissioning new branches and construction, managing the bank's phone systems and network communications platforms, implementations and project management, maintaining and coordinating the bank's disaster recovery plan, working closely with the bank's core processor and all ancillary application vendors, and being part of the Third Party Risk Committee (Vendor Management) which maintains and monitors the vendor management program for the bank. Kevin also provides technical support to bank staff and works on installation projects as well. Kevin Hajek is active in Cybersecurity and Bank Fraud discussions with customers and peers via conference and private speaking events. Kevin served on the Texas Bankers Association Technology Committee from 2015 - 2018, and served as Chairperson of the committee during the final year. In 2014, Kevin graduated from the Texas Bankers Association Management Development Program (MDP).

Kevin Hajek has an associates degree in network administration from Victoria College and a graduate degree in management development program from Texas Bankers Association.

Kevin Hajek reports to Bruce Chang, President & CEO. Kevin Hajek works with Robert Pierce - SVP & Risk Management Manager, Joyce Lin - SVP & City of Industry Branch Manager, and Lucheng Mailloux - EVP & Nevada Regional Manager.
