Steven Van Lannen has extensive work experience in the food industry. Steven began their career in 1991 at Smithfield Beef Group, where they held the role of Vice President for 17 years. In 2007, they joined Coleman Natural Foods as the President of the Red Meat division. The following year, they moved on to become the Executive Vice President at American Food Group Corp. Finally, in 2016, they were appointed as the President and Chief Operating Officer of American Foods Group.
Steven Van Lannen completed their high school education at Pulaski High School from 1981 to 1985. Steven then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Journalism and Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 1991.
