Lida Aljabar

Lida Aljabar, AICP is the Senior Director at American Forests, leading the Catalyst Initiative & Fund to support climate justice. Lida is also the Founder of Ki Strategies, LLC, focusing on sustainability and social innovation. Lida is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute, teaching courses on coastal resilience and urban placemaking. Lida serves as the Director on the Board of Directors at The Greenlining Institute and previously led climate resiliency planning at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Lida has a background in urban planning and holds degrees from Virginia Tech in Urban and Regional Planning, Natural Resources & Global Sustainability, and Public and Urban Affairs.
