The Recreation Team at American Fork City is responsible for organizing, planning, and overseeing recreational programs and activities for the community. This includes managing sports leagues, facilitating community events, and ensuring the effective use of recreational facilities. The team aims to enhance the quality of life for residents by providing diverse and inclusive recreational opportunities.

This team includes the Planner II, City Engineer, Building Inspector, and Senior Planner, who collectively ensure that construction and development projects align with zoning laws, safety standards, and the city's long-term urban planning goals. They also focus on enhancing infrastructure, enforcing building codes, and facilitating sustainable, community-oriented growth to maintain American Fork’s unique charm while supporting its steady expansion.
