Amy Monahan

Amy Monahan has extensive experience in non-profit leadership and development, currently serving as the Executive Director and previously as the Area Director at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since June 2016. Prior to this role, Amy Monahan was the Associate Director of Development at Special Olympics New York from April 2011 to June 2016, and held the position of Assistant Director at Variety the Children's Charity from October 2007 to April 2011. Earlier in the career, Amy Monahan worked as a Manager for the American Diabetes Association from August 2003 to October 2007, and held various sales positions, including Assistant Sales Manager at Roslyn Claremont Hotel from 2001 to 2003 and Sales Associate at Marriott from 1999 to 2001.
