Lisa Brattain has extensive work experience, primarily in the non-profit sector. Lisa is currently the Vice President - East Central Division at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since May 2022. Previously, they worked as a Senior Division Director from June 2018 to April 2022. Prior to that, they held the roles of Regional Director - Indiana & Ohio from July 2016 to June 2018, and Indiana/Ohio Area Director from January 2013 to July 2016. Lisa was also the Founder and Board Chair of the Indiana Chapter of AFSP from February 2008 to January 2013. Before joining AFSP, Lisa worked at the Marion County Prosecutor's Office as an Intake Supervisor/ Paralegal from January 1995 to February 2000.
Lisa Brattain attended International Business College-Indianapolis from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Paralegal degree specializing in Family Law, Bankruptcy Law, and Criminal Law. Additionally, Lisa has obtained certifications as an ASIST Trainer and QPR Trainer.
