Tracy Sommers

Tracy Sommers currently serves as the West Texas Area Director for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention since August 2022, overseeing regional initiatives. Previously, Tracy held the role of Executive Director at Barnabas Connection from May 2018 to February 2020, where responsibilities included financial management, program implementation, staff supervision, and establishing community partnerships to support self-sufficiency programs. Additionally, Tracy was the Director of Development at the Alzheimer's Association from January 2009 to June 2018, leading fundraising efforts that generated over $2 million annually, managing diverse teams, and advocating for client needs within the community. Tracy holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from Sanford-Brown College, earned between 1990 and 1992, and possesses advanced computer skills including proficiency in various financial and fundraising software.
