Anthony Candela

Anthony Candela is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in rehabilitation services, consulting, and project coordination, primarily focused on supporting individuals with disabilities. Since April 2021, Anthony has served as an Independent Consultant, providing advisement and project coordination. Currently, as a Project Support Coordinator at the American Foundation for the Blind since May 2019, Anthony facilitates project support initiatives. Previous roles include Career Success Mentor at FEDCAP, where Anthony supported young adults in achieving their goals, and Chief of Blind Rehabilitation Services at the Department of Veterans Affairs, overseeing rehabilitation training for blinded veterans. Anthony holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Manhattan College.
