Alex York

Alex York has extensive experience in the retail industry, starting in 1998 with Retail Ventures Inc. They began as a Replenishment Manager, optimizing inventory plans and managing in-stocks. They then advanced to the role of Store Planning Manager, building monthly store sales plans and addressing sales gaps. They later became a Senior Manager of Store Planning and Replenishment, leading process improvements, managing inventory balances, and mentoring teams. In 2008, Alex joined ManAlive as a Merchandise Planning and Allocation Manager, where they developed merchandise financial plans and drove allocation strategies. In 2009, they moved to Chico's FAS Inc. Soma Intimates, where they held various roles including Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Senior Planner Merchandise, and Manager Brand Planning. They generated sales and inventory plans, analyzed promotional events, and supported long-range planning. In 2021, Alex joined Eberjey as part of the Data, Analytics, and Storytelling team. They are currently working as the Manager of Business Intelligence at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance.

Alex York attended Michigan Technological University from 1987 to 1989 but did not obtain a degree. Later, from 1990 to 1992, Alex attended Central Michigan University with a field of study in Mathematics.
