Ashley Kanicki Cpa

Ashley Kanicki is a CPA with a Master's degree in accounting. Ashley has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2013, they interned as a Tax Intern at Grant Thornton LLP. Ashley then joined the same company in 2015 as a Tax Associate II, specializing in tax credits and incentives for manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, and hospitality industries. Ashley conducted research, prepared reports, and communicated with clients. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Clarus Partners, providing tax compliance services, reviewing data, and offering tax and financial planning advice. In 2018, they joined Kephart Fisher LLC as a Senior Financial Accountant, managing accounting activities for a law firm and providing fund accounting services for real estate private equity clients. In 2020, Ashley worked as a Tax Accountant at BHM CPA Group, contracted through Accounting Principals, Inc. Ashley prepared income tax returns and organized source documents. From 2020 to the present, they are employed at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance, first as a Staff Accountant and currently as the Financial Reporting Manager.

Ashley Kanicki, CPA, MS received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University in 2013. Ashley then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Taxation at Michigan State University, which they completed in 2014. Additionally, Ashley obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Accountancy Board of Ohio in January 2018.
