Everett Blackmon

Everett Blackmon began their work experience in 2002 as a Retail Sales Representative at Verizon Wireless. Everett then progressed to the roles of Assistant Retail Sales Manager and Retail Sales Manager before becoming a District Manager - Consumer Sales in 2012. In this position, they led a team to meet sales goals and monitored financial and sales reporting for retail stores in their assigned area. In 2021, Everett became a Business Owner at Joe Homebuyer, where they focused on real estate acquisition, remodeling, and wholesaling. Everett increased the client base through marketing and prospecting and handled negotiation, contracts, and coordination with lenders and attorneys. Currently, they are working as a Regional Sales Manager at American Freight Furniture, Mattress, Appliance, where they are responsible for hiring, training, and developing a high-functioning team and developing business plans for sales optimization and profitability. Everett conducts store visits and prepares action plans to improve store performance.

Everett Blackmon pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Indiana Wesleyan University, with an expected completion in 2023. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in 1997.
