Alyssa Chatten has extensive experience in planned giving, currently serving as the Director of Planned Giving at the American Friends Service Committee since June 2006. In this role, Alyssa oversees a $60M life income gift program and directs the administration of 100 open estates, averaging $8M annually. Responsibilities include soliciting planned gifts, managing vendor relationships, supervising staff, and developing marketing strategies. With previous roles as Planned Giving Manager, Planned Giving Officer, and Planned Giving Coordinator, Alyssa has raised over $4M in life income gifts and bequest intentions for the centennial campaign. Early in the career at the American Friends Service Committee, Alyssa held various positions including Development Associate and Donor Services Coordinator, showing a consistent record of improving processes and increasing revenue. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The College of New Jersey.
