Joe Maloney

Joe Maloney is a seasoned professional in strategic communications with extensive experience in public affairs. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications at the American Gaming Association since January 2024, Maloney previously held the role of Vice President of Public Affairs & Strategic Communications for the Washington Commanders from December 2020 to January 2024. Prior experience includes partnership at Locust Street Group, a public affairs firm, and roles at Dewey Square Group and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Maloney began a career in political organization during the John Kerry for President campaign and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Dickinson College and an M.A. in Government from The Johns Hopkins University.
