Kate Maxted is an experienced professional with a diverse background in arts management, dance, and administrative support. Currently serving as the Western Business Representative at the American Guild of Musical Artists since September 2021, Kate previously worked as a Risk Management Program Assistant at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies and as an Administrative Assistant at Maxted Law, where support for client cases was provided. Additionally, Kate has a substantial background in dance as a Soloist with Ballet San Antonio and Ballet Idaho, and ownership of a hand-knit custom home goods business, Brown Eyed Ballerina. This experience is complemented by expertise in social media management and marketing gained through various roles, including as a Marketing Intern at the San Antonio Symphony. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a high school diploma in Ballet from Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts.
