Claire Kinzy Lindsey

Claire Kinzy Lindsey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Claire currently works at the American Heart Association as the National Vice President, a role they have held since July 2020. Prior to this, they were the National Executive Portfolio Lead - Women at the same organization from February 2018 to July 2020.

Before joining the American Heart Association, Claire worked at The Cooper Institute as the Vice President - Communications and Public Affairs. In this role, they oversaw all communications and public affairs matters for the organization, including marketing, brand management, advertising, social media, public and media relations, crisis communications, events, and general awareness. Claire held this position from September 2015 to February 2018.

Claire also has significant experience at the American Heart Association, where they held two roles. From February 2013 to September 2015, they were the Senior Director of Communications and Mission Engagement - North Texas, responsible for implementing market communications in North Texas. Prior to that, from July 2008 to February 2013, they served as the Communications and Marketing Director - Dallas, overseeing media, communications strategies, marketing, and brand management.

Earlier in their career, Claire worked as the Community Relations Manager for the Dallas Stars from July 2005 to July 2008, where they managed community relations, program management, fundraising, and grassroots hockey programs. Claire also gained media relations experience at the Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium from July 2004 to February 2005, and the Texas Rangers in 2005. Claire started their career in the sports industry as a Media Relations GA at Texas Tech University's Athletics Department from 2003 to 2004.

Claire Kinzy Lindsey obtained their Master's Degree in Mass Communications and Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University in 2004. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the same institution in 2003. Claire completed their high school education at Highland Park High School between 1994 and 1998.
