David Morris

David Morris has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David currently holds the position of Vice President, Development at the American Heart Association since 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at the same organization from 2018 to 2023. Before joining the American Heart Association, David worked as the Assistant Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations at Delaware Technical & Community College from 2015 to 2018. David also held various roles at the University of Delaware, including Senior Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving from 2014 to 2015 and Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving from 2006 to 2015. Earlier in their career, David worked at Mass Marketing Insurance Group as a Campaign Manager/Marketing Analyst from 2005 to 2006 and at MBNA America as a Senior Credit Analyst from 2002 to 2005.

David Morris earned an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware in 2015, specializing in Master of Business Administration. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2001.
