Dionne Broadus

National Vice President, Social Impact | Mission Advancement at American Heart Association

Dionne Broadus, J.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. Most recently, they served as the Inaugural National Vice President, Social Impact for the American Heart Association, where they oversaw impact investments in BIPOC and female-led social entrepreneurs. Prior to that, they were the Vice President, Head of the Judson Foundation at Judson Senior Living, where they managed philanthropic initiatives and led the organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. Dionne also held leadership positions at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Case Western Reserve University, BET Networks, Friends of the High Line, National Basketball Association (NBA), NYC & Company, and Essence Magazine. Throughout their career, Dionne has demonstrated expertise in fundraising, development, corporate partnerships, and community programs.

Dionne Broadus, J.D. attended the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Dionne also participated in a Semester At Sea / ISE program in 1993, studying International Study Abroad. Broadus completed their undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors in Political Science & International Studies from the University Honors College. Currently, they are pursuing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate at Cornell University.
