Michelle Raphael is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health equity and marketing. Currently serving as a Consultant and Program Lead for the EmPOWERED to Serve Business Accelerator at the American Heart Association since May 2017, Michelle focuses on bridging health equity gaps in urban communities. Previously, from October 2008 to May 2014, Michelle held dual roles at the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association, initially as an Associate Marketing Manager, where efforts centered on engaging African American and Hispanic audiences through digital and social media strategies, as well as managing multicultural programs on various platforms. Earlier in 2008, Michelle gained experience as a Project Coordinator at Lipman Advertising and as an Art Buying Intern, enhancing expertise in creative advertising with a focus on prestigious brands. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin.
