Mike Turner

Mike Turner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event coordination and marketing. Currently serving as the Special Events Director at the American Heart Association since September 2008, Mike Turner focuses on uniting individuals and organizations to promote healthier communities across Central and Eastern Kentucky. Prior to this role, Mike Turner was the Marketing Manager at the Lexington Herald-Leader from April 1986 to September 2008. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Psychology from Transylvania University, attended from 1978 to 1980.
