Pamela Garmon Johnson

National Senior Vice-president, Healthy Living & Nextgen Programs at American Heart Association

Pamela Garmon Johnson has extensive experience in the health and nonprofit sectors, currently serving as the National Senior Vice-President for Healthy Living & NextGen Programs at the American Heart Association since December 1996. In addition to this role, Pamela holds the title of National Executive Director for the National Hypertension Control Initiative and has served as the National Vice-President for Health Equity Impact and Partnerships. Prior to joining the American Heart Association, Pamela worked at MCI as an Accountant and later as an Accounting Manager from March 1992 to November 1994. Pamela earned an MBA in Marketing from Southern Methodist University and a degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas.
