National Spokesperson Power To End Stroke at American Heart Association

Rani Whitfield, MD, is a seasoned medical professional with experience spanning over two decades. As the National Spokesperson for the American Heart Association’s Power to End Stroke initiative since 2002, Rani Whitfield has made significant contributions to public health awareness. In addition, Rani Whitfield owns and operates Rani G Whitfield, M.D. APMC and has been recognized as Tha Hip Hop Doc, providing medical insights particularly related to health issues impacting youth and African Americans through articles for All Hip Hop. Rani Whitfield served as Medical Director at Cenikor Foundation, Inc. and contributed to the book "Not In My Family: AIDS in the African American Community." Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
