Tamara Ramer, MA, CHES®, currently serves as the Senior Community Impact Director for the American Heart Association, overseeing health initiatives across 53 counties in Pennsylvania. Ramer's prior experience includes roles as Community Impact Director and Community Programs Educator at UPMC Pinnacle, where responsibilities involved community health reporting, public speaking, and program implementation aligned with health needs assessments. Additional experience encompasses work as a Community Health Specialist with the York City Bureau of Health, focusing on various health programming and coalition building, as well as coaching gymnastics at the Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA. Ramer holds a Master’s degree in Health Promotion from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Commonwealth University-Lock Haven.
