Aaron Wesolowski has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on policy research, analytics, and strategy. Aaron is currently serving as the Vice President of Policy Research, Analytics, and Strategy at the American Hospital Association since November 2017. Prior to this, Aaron held the position of Senior Research Director in Health Care at NORC at the University of Chicago from November 2014 to November 2017.

Before joining NORC, they had a long tenure at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), where they held various roles. Aaron was the Director of Marketplace Eligibility Policy & Operations from June 2014 to November 2014, and prior to that, they served as the Director of Marketplace Verifications Policy & Operations from February 2012 to May 2014. In these positions, Aaron was responsible for implementing and overseeing eligibility verifications for health insurance Marketplaces under the Affordable Care Act.

Aaron also has experience in Medicaid and CHIP operations, having worked as the Lead Program Analyst in the Boston Division of Medicaid & CHIP Operations from January 2008 to February 2012. Aaron began their career in the healthcare industry as an Analyst in the Intergovernmental Affairs Office, and later as a Government Task Leader for Medicare Coordination of Benefits.

Prior to their career in healthcare, Aaron served as a Community Health Volunteer in the Peace Corps from August 2001 to October 2003.

Aaron Wesolowski completed their B.S. in Political Science at Northeastern University from 1996 to 2001. Aaron went on to earn their MBA with a concentration in Public & Non-Profit Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University between 2009 and 2012.
