Colin Milligan

Colin Milligan has extensive experience in communications and media relations. Colin currently holds the position of Senior Director of Media Relations at the American Hospital Association, where they have been working since 2017. Prior to this, they held various roles at the organization, including Director and Senior Associate Director of Media Relations.

Before their time at the American Hospital Association, Colin worked as the Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar from 2015 to 2017. Colin also served as the Communications Director for U.S. Representative Cheri Bustos from 2013 to 2015, and briefly held the same position at Friends of Cheri Bustos in 2014.

Colin's experience in politics includes working as the Press Secretary for the Shelley Berkley for U.S. Senate campaign in 2012. Colin also worked in the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee as a Deputy Press Secretary from 2009 to 2010 and in the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Center as a Deputy Press Secretary for Regional Media from 2011 to 2012.

Colin'scareer in communications began with a role as a Press Assistant/Field Organizer for Obama for America from 2007 to 2008. Overall, Colin has a strong background in media relations and communications, with a focus on political and healthcare organizations.
