Jennifer Calzada

Jennifer Calzada, MPH, CHSE, FSSH, serves as the Director of the Tulane Center for Advanced Medical Simulation and Team Training at Tulane University, where leadership has facilitated significant annual growth in both revenue and learner engagement since 2008. Additionally, Jennifer holds various roles, including Executive Leadership and Resilience Coach for the Tulane University Leadership Institute, and Committee Chair for MedBiquitous, focusing on simulation-based assessment in healthcare education. As a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer, Jennifer emphasizes effective team communication and leadership development to enhance patient safety. Active in multiple professional organizations, Jennifer has contributed as an accreditation site reviewer and board member for the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the American College of Surgeons. Jennifer's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Tulane University and a Master of Arts in Media Studies from The New School.
