Julia Heitzer, MS, CPHQ, serves as a Senior Program Manager in Healthcare Quality Data at the American Hospital Association since May 2012, leading data analysis and management efforts for the Hospital Improvement Innovation Network project, which targets reducing inpatient harm and readmissions. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at the Joint Commission, where project management focused on accreditation standards and patient safety, and Research Specialist at the American College of Chest Physicians, overseeing the development of clinical guidelines.
