Julie Kim

Julie Kim serves as the Director of Health Equity Strategies at the American Hospital Association, where responsibilities include driving initiatives focused on health equity, diversity, community partnerships, and data utilization to enhance population health. Previous roles within the organization include Senior Program Manager and Performance Improvement Coach II, where Julie managed health equity projects and coached healthcare teams on quality improvement initiatives. Prior to the American Hospital Association, experience includes research at Rush University Medical Center and administrative coordination for a community clinic. Julie is currently pursuing a Doctor of Public Health degree with a focus on Quality and Patient Safety at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, following a Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality from the same institution and a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management from Loyola University Chicago.
