Kristina Merrick Weger

Kristina Merrick Weger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs and health care advocacy. Currently serving as Vice President for External and Government Affairs at the American Hospital Association, Kristina also holds the positions of Executive Director for both the Coalition to Protect America's Health Care and Executive Branch Relations, in addition to being a Senior Associate Director for Federal Relations. Prior experience includes roles as Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator Roy Blunt, focusing on health care and education, and similar responsibilities under Congressman Roy Blunt. Kristina's early career included positions at the Office of the Republican Whip and research and staff assistant roles for Congressman Roy Blunt. Kristina earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Geography from Missouri State University.
