Lisa Hinkle

Lisa Hinkle has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Lisa currently holds the position of Deputy Executive Director of Education at the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), a role they started in February 2020. Before that, they worked as the Director of Education at SHSMD from December 2017 to February 2020. Prior to their director role, they served as the Associate Director of Education at SHSMD from April 2017 to December 2017, and as the Education Manager from April 2013 to April 2017.

Lisa also has experience with the American Hospital Association. In 2013, they were an Education Specialist for the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (AHVRP). Additionally, they worked as an Education Coordinator for AHVRP from September 2011 to August 2012.

Before transitioning into the healthcare field, Lisa had professional roles in academia and internships in student services. Lisa Hinkle earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing and International Business Certificate from the University of Iowa in 1999-2003. Lisa later pursued a Master of Science degree in Adult and Higher Education with a concentration in Student Personnel Services at Northern Illinois University during 2006-2007.
