Lizzie Ortolano

Lizzie Ortolano has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Executive Director of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management at the American Hospital Association. Lizzie also holds the position of Executive Director of the American Society for Health Care Engineering within the same organization.

Prior to their current roles, Lizzie served as the Senior Director of Customer & Member Experience at the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). In this role, they oversaw cross-functional teams and implemented systems to enhance customer/member satisfaction and engagement.

Before joining IREM, Lizzie held various positions at the American Osteopathic Foundation. Lizzie served as the Director of Internal/External Affairs, where they managed programs to support physician members and implemented a new CRM system for fundraising. Lizzie also served as the Division Director, where they focused on membership retention strategies and implemented initiatives for leadership development and member service benefits.

Earlier in their career, Lizzie worked as the Administrative/Membership Director at the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA) and as a Health Educator at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

Lizzie Ortolano attended Illinois State University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a degree in Community Health Education with a focus on Program Planning & Implementation. In 2006, they also briefly studied Public Health at Curtin University.
