Mohamed Salem, MD, MHSE, FACC holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1994. Mohamed then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering from Lehigh University between 2013 and 2018. In 2020 to 2021, they attended MIT Sloan School of Management for studies in Artificial Intelligence in Health Care. Additionally, they also completed medical training at NorthShore - LIJ Health System, NYU- Albert Einstein School of medicine from 1999 to 2003 and Nassau University Medical Center, SUNY at Stony Brook from 1996 to 1999.
