Dr. Tarek A. Dufan, Chief Medical Officer at American Hospital, is an experienced radiation oncologist with over 20 years of experience. He has practiced and taught at some of the world’s most prestigious medical organizations. Holding certifications from American and Canadian medical authorities, Dufan has a number of academic and professional achievements to his credit.

Prior to joining American Hospital, he was the medical director for the Bismarck Cancer Center, North Dakota, USA, also He was the Cancer care Liaison and Cancer committee chair in two prestigious Hospitals in USA and recently he posted as Clinical Professor at the University of Sharjah Medical School.

He was the fellow associate of the Royal College of physicians and surgeons of Canada, Radiation Oncology, Cancer Care Manitoba, University of Manitoba. He holds a master’s degree in anatomy and cell biology from the esteemed Richmond University, London, UK.

Among a number of medical publications that Dufan has to his credit are ‘What Is the Optimal Management of Gleason Score 7 Prostate Cancer at Biopsy? A Comparison of Disease Control for Prostatectomy Versus Radiotherapy’ and ‘Margin involvement at prostatectomy for clinically localized prostate cancer: does a low-risk group exist?’ He was awarded the Hero physician Award at North Dakota (2013) along with other accolades.
