Said Maqsood has extensive work experience in the sales and management field. Said started their career at Dade Behring in 2001 and was promoted to the role of Service Operations Manager where they administered $30+ million in service contracts. Said then became the Senior Inside Sales Manager, overseeing a team of 53 Inside Sales Account Managers and driving reagent penetration and customer service functions.

In 2007, Said joined American Hotel Register as the Group Sales Manager, managing a team of Inside and Outside Sales Account Managers and being responsible for $40 million in P&L for the company's non-hotel markets. Said then became the Director of Inside Sales, leading a 45-member team and presenting operational reviews to senior management. Finally, they were promoted to the role of Director of National Accounts, where they oversaw customer programs and business development efforts for non-hotel markets. Said was accountable for account management, strategic sales planning, customer/vendor relations, and sales contract negotiations.

Said Maqsood's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University. Said attended from 1989 to 1992. In addition, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management at Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 1994 to 1997.
