Heather Miller

Heather Miller is a seasoned professional in the field of advancement and planned giving, currently serving as the Director of Planned Giving at American Humane since May 2022. Prior to this role, Miller held significant positions at AAUW, where duties included Director of Advancement and Director of Planned Giving from September 2017 to March 2022. Miller's experience also includes a tenure as Senior Stewardship Officer at American Farmland Trust from October 2005 to September 2017 and a role in Arts & Sciences Development at the University of Virginia between 2000 and 2005. Miller's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University, completed from 1988 to 1992, along with studies at Tandem from 1985 to 1987.
