Padma Jones

Padma Jones, MPH, is an experienced epidemiologist currently working at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health since November 2019, focusing on Covid-19 response efforts. Previously, Padma served as an Epidemiology Analyst involved in Veterinary Public Health and Covid-19 response. Additionally, Padma has been a Certified Animal Safety Representative at American Humane since March 2016 and held the position of Epidemiology Research Intern at Aviva Family and Children's Services from September 2017 to January 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Registered Veterinary Technician at Conejo Valley Equine from August 2008 to March 2016. Padma earned a Master of Public Health in Applied Epidemiology from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
