Juan Avilez is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a Master's degree in Public Policy. Juan has a background in political science and extensive experience in various roles, including as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Carolina Center for Public Service and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Politics of Public Policy at UNC. Juan has also been involved in political consultancy work as an intern at Maven Strategies and research assistant roles related to immigration policy. Currently, Juan serves as a State and Local Policy Intern at the American Immigration Council.
