Brodie has a robust background in immigration law, having held positions at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and AB Immigration Law, among others. Active in the legal community, Brodie has been a Board Member of the Anti-Defamation League since 2010 and serves as the AILA Colorado Unauthorized Practice of Law Liaison to the Colorado Supreme Court for the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
