Jeff Joseph

First Vice President at American Immigration Lawyers Association

Jeff Joseph has a diverse work experience in the field of immigration law. Jeff is currently a Partner at Berry Appleman & Leiden LLP, starting in October 2021. In addition, they hold the position of Second Vice President at the American Immigration Lawyers Association, starting in June 2022. Prior to these roles, Jeff Joseph was the Senior Partner and Director of Corporate Immigration & Employer Compliance at Joseph Law Firm, P.C. from December 1998 to October 2021. Jeff also served as an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law from 2000 to 2010. Jeff began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at Ann Allott, P.C. from May 1997 to December 1998, and previously worked as a Law Clerk at the Center for Human Rights Advocacy from January 1996 to January 1997.

Jeff Joseph attended Jesuit High School in Tampa from 1986 to 1990. Jeff then pursued a Bachelor's degree in English and Art History at Wake Forest University from 1990 to 1994. After completing their undergraduate studies, Jeff Joseph furthered their education at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, obtaining a JD (Juris Doctor) degree in Law from 1994 to 1997.
