Cih Denise Daggett

Denise Daggett, CIH, currently serves as the Local Section Regional Representative in a volunteer capacity for the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) since May 2016 and is an Independent Consultant at Daggett IH Solutions since January 2016. Previously, Denise was the Industrial Hygiene Manager at The Scripps Research Institute from November 2003 to December 2015, overseeing a comprehensive industrial hygiene program and the management of a chemical hygiene system involving over one million hazardous chemicals across multiple labs and buildings. Denise served on the CIHC Board from 2003 to 2009, representing the San Diego Local Section. Additionally, Denise was the Safety, Health, and Environmental Director at AMEC/Ogden Earth & Environmental for 14 years, where responsibilities included developing safety policies and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Denise holds a BA in Biology/Biochemistry from UCLA and an MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health.
