Tim Burkert has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Tim started their career in the US Army as an Aviation Operations Specialist, where they performed vital dispatching and scheduling functions for an aviation training unit. Tim was later promoted to assistant Flight Operations Sergeant, where they trained and supervised a team of personnel.

After leaving the military, Tim worked as an Account Representative at GC Services, where they called on and collected past due balances from commercial customers, providing them with excellent customer service and resolving billing issues.

Tim then joined Cintas as a Customer Service Representative, where they serviced industrial customers, resolving on-site conflicts and upselling additional rental services and apparel.

At American Industrial Transport, Inc., Tim held the roles of Fleet Management/Railcar Coordinator and Operations Specialist. In these positions, they managed railcar fleet maintenance programs, audited repair estimates, and ensured compliance with customer, regulatory, and financial requirements. Tim also developed cost-effective pricing strategies and collaborated with sales reps and suppliers to develop sales quotes for railcar repair projects.

Tim Burkert earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Southeast Missouri State University. Tim attended the university from 1990 to 1993.
