Nigel Brockton

Vice President of Research at American Institute for Cancer Research

Nigel Brockton serves as the Vice President of Research at the American Institute for Cancer Research since September 2017, bringing extensive expertise in molecular cancer epidemiology. In addition to this role, Nigel Brockton is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Calgary and has held the position of Director of Research at the same institution since April 2014. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Scientist and Cancer Epidemiologist at Alberta Health Services-Cancer Care from May 2007 to August 2017, as well as a research scientist at Tom Baker Cancer Centre during the same period. Nigel Brockton earned a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Aberdeen (1997-2002) and holds a degree from Heriot-Watt University (1990-1994).
