Dan Mayer

Dr. Dan Mayer is an Attending Physician in the Emergency Department at Albany Medical Center. He works as both a clinical and teaching attending. The hospital’s emergency department is a Level I and sees about 60,000 patients each year. Dr. Mayer is also a Professor for Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical College where he teaches a four year course in evidence-based medicine. He developed the entire course himself and trained the faculty preceptors to teach in it.
