Eric Dinallo

Chairman at American Institute for Stuttering

Eric Dinallo is the current Chairman at American Institute for Stuttering and was previously a Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton from December 2010 to December 2017. Prior to that, they were an Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business from July 2009 to December 2016. From January 2007 to July 2009, they were the New York State Superintendent of Insurance at the New York State Insurance Department where they demonstrated national leadership on the industry’s regulation and its role in the financial system. Eric has also been recognized with numerous awards and accolades throughout their career.

Eric Dinallo attended Santa Monica High School for their general education. Eric then went on to Vassar College where they obtained their B.A. in philosophy. After Vassar, Eric Dinallo attended Duke University where they obtained their Master of Arts in public policy. Lastly, they attended New York University School of Law where they obtained their Juris Doctor.
