Duncan Hills is a highly experienced systems engineer specializing in aerospace and space systems, currently serving as the SLD Human Moon Lander - Systems Engineering Digital Systems Lead at Lockheed Martin Space since June 2020, contributing to NASA's Artemis V program. Previous roles at Lockheed Martin include Systems Engineer for the Mars Sample Return mission and project manager for Model-Based Systems Engineering initiatives related to the Human Landing System. With a strong foundation in engineering management from earlier positions in project management and team leadership across various sectors, including mechanical engineering and recruitment, Duncan also co-founded Budgie Aerodynamics to promote fuel efficiency in trucking. An alumnus of UNSW, Duncan holds a Master's in Space Systems Engineering, graduating with excellence, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics from the University of Surrey. Additionally, Duncan serves on the board of the AIAA Rocky Mountain Section.
