James P. Hamilton is an accomplished entrepreneur and academic with extensive experience in nanotechnology and polymer solutions. As the Founder and CEO of Photonic Cleaning Technologies, LLC since July 2003, Hamilton has led the development of innovative polymer solutions for cleaning precision surfaces, achieving sales in 75 countries and securing over $1 million in NASA SBIR funding for space exploration technologies. Hamilton also serves as Director at NCCRD Nano Research Center and holds the position of Wisconsin Distinguished Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. In addition to various roles within the AIAA, including participation in the Space Colonization Technical Committee, Hamilton has contributed to NASA projects as a contractor, focusing on polymer technologies for space telescope applications. Hamilton holds a PhD in Physical & Analytical Chemistry and AMO Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Chemistry from the University of Maine.
