Merrie Scott serves as the Senior Vice President of Membership Engagement at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) since November 2019, where strategic initiatives have been developed to enhance community outreach and engagement. Prior to this role, Merrie held positions within the AIAA Foundation from February 2016 to November 2019, culminating in the role of Director, where educational programs were established to support K-12 and higher education initiatives. Merrie's extensive experience with AIAA includes various roles focused on industry partnerships, strategic alliances, and member activities, leading efforts that significantly increased corporate membership and engagement while securing funding for major initiatives. Merrie began professional endeavors in marketing at The National Club Association and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
