Jeffrey V Newman

Jeffrey V Newman is a experienced software engineer with a robust background in web development and IT operations. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute since November 2017, Jeffrey also works as a Contract Ruby on Rails Developer for TEKsystems. Since April 2008, Jeffrey has contributed to the American Institute of Biological Sciences as a Developer, creating custom Ruby on Rails applications, and previously held the role of Programs Technology Manager, overseeing IT operations for the organization's mission-related projects. Jeffrey's prior experience includes a Senior Developer position at New Signature, where web solutions were developed using various technologies, and significant roles at Mindshare Interactive Campaigns, Diamond Computer Incorporated, and KIS Systems.
