Byron Sun

Byron Sun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in safety, health, and environmental management across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Staff Consultant at CCPS since September 2012, Byron plays a key role in addressing process safety needs within the chemical, pharmaceutical, and petroleum sectors. As Principal Consultant at Safety Knowledge Center (Shanghai) since May 2012, Byron focuses on developing safety, health, and environment strategies and transforming safety culture. Previous roles include Safety, Health and Environment Manager at DuPont China from February 2004 to March 2012, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing safety affairs for all DuPont entities in China, and various positions at Agilent Technologies and DuPont Fibers China Limited. Byron began a career as Lead Process Engineer at SINOPEC from 1988 to 1997. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Tongji University, attained between 2002 and 2004.
