Tere Petersen

Tere Petersen, CMP, has extensive experience in event production and logistics, currently serving as a Specialist at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers since September 2022. Previously, Tere held the position of Event Manager at Girls Who Invest and contributed to MTK Resources in various roles, including Case Supervisor and Conference Coordinator, where over 550 applications were approved on a federal rent relief project. Tere has also worked with Sklar and Associates, managing logistics and budgets for large conferences, and held roles at Thomson Reuters and the American Securitization Forum, where significant increases in event attendance and profitability were achieved. Tere’s career began as a Program Manager at TG Worldwide, organizing medical meetings across the US. Tere holds a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Tulsa.
