Adriana Tamayo

Adriana Tamayo is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in branding and design leadership. As the Founder and CEO of Design Subtropic since March 2021, Adriana has established South Florida's first design festival aimed at enhancing the lives of designers and promoting Miami as a design hub. Additionally, Adriana has been the Founder and Creative Director of Friendly Feral since January 2014, focusing on branding impactful events. Adriana holds the title of President Emeritus for the Miami Chapter of AIGA Design since September 2019. Previous roles include Graphic Designer at Metronome3 and Nolck Red America. Adriana's educational background includes studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela.
